Schedule Your Free Online Tele Visit for an Initial Evaluation
Prior to coming into our office for an in-person evaluation, first schedule your free 15-minute pre-appointment telehealth consultation. During this session we will assess your current condition as well as discuss the treatments you have previously undergone to help alleviate your acne. If we determine that you would be a good candidate for our extensive AcneClear treatment package we will schedule your free in-person evaluation and consultation.
In-Person Evaluation, Consultation, and Recommendation
During your in-person appointment we will fully assess the severity of your condition and further explore what acne treatments you have undergone. Once we are confident our protocols will be well suited for your specific condition, we will explain the various acne treatment packages in more detail. We have three packages that work well for most patients. However, if your conditions warrant it, we will recommend a custom and personalized treatment plan to achieve the best results.
Begin Your Personalized AcneClear Treatment Plan
For acne patients, each treatment package includes one or more sessions on our AviClear 1726 wavelength laser by Cutera, specifically designed to eradicate the most persistent acne. Each package also includes one or more sessions on our Broadband Light (BBL) laser by Sciton as well as one or more sessions on our DUSA Blu-U blue light photodynamic therapy device. You will receive a personalized skin care product assortment for after care.
Eradicate Acne
All of Dr. Burkenstock’s AcneClear acne treatment packages start with a comprehensive evaluation and consultation with Dr. B., who will assess your skin and determine the best course of treatment for your specific needs. Each treatment plan includes one or more sessions on Cutera’s AviClear laser treatment, which uses a combination of laser energy and heat to target and destroy acne-causing bacteria, reduce inflammation, and improve skin texture. The laser treatment is complemented by one or more sessions on our BBL laser skin recovery procedure, one or more sessions on our blue light bacteria reduction therapy, facial microdermabrasion, and our private line of medical grade acne skin care products specifically formulated to treat acne-prone skin.
These treatment plans help to clear acne and prevent future breakouts, resulting in a clear and smooth complexion while the skincare regimen helps to maintain the results of the laser treatment and prevent future breakouts. Additionally, follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor your progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
